I mentored Alyssa and worked with her directly during her summer internship at Union Home Mortgage. She is a talented developer with a strong ability to quickly pick up on new tech and creatively solve business challenges. Alyssa was a key team member in developing, testing and implementing our Design System from scratch. She was able to learn React.js very quickly with the team and her keen eye for detail and creative ideas helped us improve and innovate our UI library and the documentation associated with it. In addition, she also lead the re-design and UX for our Payment Portal App. Her back-end dev chops gained momentum as we worked on redesigning the new Union Home Mortgage corporate website as she touched many different layers of this project.
